The 2k inverter works great but usually we stay in 70° weather, it coffee runs. The dealer installed 400 amp hour lithium, lithium is worth the money. When you do fix it just yank the Jaboni out and include the 300 watt panel it in to a better system. Money will spent, would be better if I could do it myself to save money, but I don't trust my abilities. I paid the solar company in Quartzsite last year 3.2k to add 800 more watts and hook it all to the victron system and monitor. The only good side is the inverter wiring is already done and installed. What a waste of money for terrible system. It came with the 300 watt and a Jaboni solar controller and the monitor panel in the bathroom. There is no shortage of energy running through the Momentum. We even have a small chest freezer that runs on a timer in the garage. We live full time, currently on a 8 month hiatus in Fairbanks alaska so the trailer is in storage, but when we live and travel I don't like to be energy conscious. The 300 watt is nice if you are weekending or short trips with travel. Haha, came looking for hitch answers and now you bought a fridge. I have never lifted it, it lives in the truck bed or I leave it hang from the kingpin (after getting permission from Trailer Saver to do so). But, it's stupidly heavy (300 lbs.) and expensive ($3k). It's even better than an air ride kingpin with the B&W. It's a full air ride hitch with shocks built in. It's unfair to compare the ride with the Trailer Saver TS3 and other hitches. Out of the truck, I put it on a furniture dolly and moved it around that way. The B&W Companion is easy to hitch and unhitch, good ride, and comes out of the truck bed in 2 pieces (1 is bulky but manageable). The only reason I got rid of it was that the one I had was only rated to 20k and my new toy hauler was coming in north of 21k. We didn't experience the ride issues with the B&W Companion. ![]() The only thing I liked about the Andersen was its light-weightness for removing from the truck. ![]() My wife is prone to back pain and back-to-back travel days had her in pain. We felt every bump and wiggle in the camper translated up into the cab. I hated the ride with the Andersen, the hassle of hitching it up, and the annoyance of the safety chains (whos need is dubious according to Andersen). I pulled the same trailer with the same truck using the newer B&W Companion, Andersen, and the Trailer Saver. I've had a pair of B&W Companion hitches, an Andersen Ultimate Fifth Wheel Connection, and a Trailer Saver TS3.
